A festive atmosphere filled Shinthi More on the 15th of December as a Bengali wedding ceremony brought together loved ones. The winter air, perhaps crisp and cool, was no doubt warmed by the joy of the occasion. Dressed in all their finery, the bride and groom, following Bengali customs, likely exchanged garlands under a beautifully decorated mandap. The ceremony would have been filled with the melodious sounds of Bengali chants and the sweet smell of incense as the rituals unfolded.
